The Three Pyramids is a dahabiya built in 2019 in the style of the sailing boats of the 19th century: 40 metres long, three decks, six cabins and two suites, and never more than sixteen guests. She moves under her two lateen sails whenever the wind allows, with a tug only where the river needs it, and moors at islands and village landings that the cruise ships pass by.

A dahabiya is a sailing boat. The Three Pyramids carries sixteen guests at most, where a cruise ship carries well over a hundred, and it moors at islands and village landings that the larger boats pass by.
