7 nights, Luxor to Aswan and back

Seven nights is the same river twice, and that changes how the week is built. Nothing is crammed into the first three days. Edfu is done on the way south, Kom Ombo on the way back at sunset when the coaches have gone, and Luxor Temple is held back for the last evening, floodlit. Between them come two days that belong to the river itself, and the one morning long enough for Abu Simbel.
