FAQ

How early does the Abu Simbel day start?

You leave the ship at around four in the morning with a breakfast box, drive three hours south, spend about two hours at the temples and are back aboard for lunch. It is a long morning, and it is the one day nobody regrets.

Do I need a visa?

Yes. Most nationalities need an Egyptian entry visa and it is not part of the package. You can buy one on arrival at Cairo airport or apply online beforehand. We will tell you which applies to your passport when you book.

Are the flights inside Egypt included?

Yes. Cairo to Aswan on day three and Luxor to Cairo on day six are both booked by us and included. Your international flights are not.

How much is the balloon over Luxor?

$125 per person, paid separately. It lifts off around half past four in the morning on day six and lands in time for the West Bank visits. Tell us when you book if you want it.

Which ship will I be on?

One of the deluxe five star ships we work with, named on your confirmation. If it is full on your dates you are moved to another ship of the same category, never a lower one.

Can the itinerary be changed?

Yes. Extra nights, a longer cruise, a different hotel, Alexandria or the Red Sea added on. Tell us what you want and we will price it. Only the sailing days are fixed.
