Guide mo in Cairo devised the perfect one 2 day programme including Giza Pyramids, an unforgettable Time , a delicious authentic local specialist lunch and a quick trip around the Egyptian museum in Central Cairo. Fast forward the next day to amazing Aswan and we were looked after splendidly by guide John, who combined visits to temples and obelisks with delightful felucca trips around Elephantine island, visits to the Nubian village, incense and silk sellers and then joined us on the amazing Tamr Nile Cruise via Kol Ombo, the astonishing Esna locks, up to unforgettable Luxor and the temples and Valley of Kings and Queens. hot air balloons was magnificent We stayed at the exceptional Fairmont Nile City or Sofitel EL Gezira hotel., an absolute gem of a hotel with terrific staff and superb rooms, restaurants and cars, as, well as a varied shopping mall.
